The Service Valet is responsible for greeting customers in the service drive, preparing write-up information for Service Advisors and parking cars.

QualificationsEducation

Will stand six to eight hours per shift. May lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds. Will drive and park customer cars, therefore will need to bend, kneel, twist, lean, etc. Will shuttle customers to and from work or home. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, paint, dust, heat, humidity, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Will be requested to drive manual (stick shift) and automatic transmission vehicles. Will be required to wear a uniform at all times.

Job-Specific Expectations

• Separate hat tags on all incoming vehicles, noting VIN number and mileage.

• Park written-up vehicles, noting parking spot number on key tag.

• Maintain hazardous waste log on a daily basis.

• Retrieve cars for customers upon pick-up, and deliver in service drive area removing protection items just before delivery.

• Stage vehicles for technician servicing.

• Shuttle customers to and from work or home when requested.

• Perform light maintenance when requested..

• Wash customer cars when requested by Service Advisors or Department Manager.

• Take open and close readings from gas pump.

• Maintain high customer satisfaction to meet Dealership and Manufacturer requirements.

• All other Dealership related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Department Manager.
